I’m David Wren, a wedding photographer based in Newquay, Cornwall and available across the UK and Europe.

As your wedding photographer I’m here to make your life easier! When planning a wedding, there’s plenty of moving parts and suppliers to think about. My role stretches far beyond creating lasting memories of your wedding day. Consider me your informal co-planner, creative sounding board and wedding day timeline coordinator! Over the course of a couple of zoom calls, we’ll get to know each other, figure out your wedding timeline and discuss things like film photography and more.

By the time I arrive on the morning of your wedding, I’ll be a familiar face, ready to help make your day run smoothly. I’ll have a good grasp of your guest list, as well as the structure and timings for your day. Whilst I’m there I’ll have a nice chat with your parents, say hi to your mates and integrate myself into the day in a way that always feels present, but never over-present or in the way. You’ll be able to relax in the knowledge that your photography is in safe hands and being taken care of and once the party is in full swing I’ll join you on the dance floor!

Throughout the day I’ll have my eyes peeled for beautiful moments, capturing them as I go. When we take a step away from the main event to make your couples portraits, this is as much an opportunity for the two of you to reconnect and soak in the magic of the day as it is about creating stunning images you’ll cherish forever. When my wife and I got married, this part of our day felt so special to us.
